About us
Your hosts in Almyrida Villas Helios and Thalassa
Our family originates from the small village of Plaka, just 2 km uphill from Almyrida.
The previous generations used the ground on which Almyrida Villa Helios and Almyrida Villa Thalassa have been built as
a grapevine. As times change, we decided to turn it into two holiday villas with pool.
We dreamed of building villas which would respect the local architecture of Crete and would be jewels for the Almyrida area. We also wanted to offer our guests an accomodation with character, style and comfort. The fact that we were (still are) new in the business meant, of course, painstaking planning and research. It also meant that we were full of fresh ideas, which we did our best to realise.
Because of our jobs and for vacation, we both have travelled a lot in Greece and abroad. Having stayed in rented accomodations quite often, we know very well what you are looking for in a holiday villa. We believe that we can offer it!
